  Tin is a natural element in the earth's crust. It is a soft, white, silvery metal that does not dissolve in water. It is present in brass, bronze, pewter, and some soldering materials. Tin metal is used to line cans for food, beverages, and aerosols. Tin can combine with other chemicals to form compounds. Combinations with chemicals like chlorine, sulfur, or oxygen . Heterocyclic compound, also called heterocycle, any of a major class of organic chemical compounds characterized by the fact that some or all of the atoms in their molecules are joined in rings containing at least one atom of an element other than carbon (C). The cyclic part (from Greek kyklos, meaning “circle”) of heterocyclic indicates that at least one ring structure is .

Tin is a chemical element with the symbol Sn (from Latin: stannum) and atomic number Tin is a silvery metal that characteristically has a faint yellow hue. Tin, like indium, is soft enough to be cut without much force.   Germanium forms only a 2+ ion because its outer shell is too close to the nucleus for further electrons to be totally removed. However, tin and lead can form both 4+ and 2+ ions. The tendency to form the 2+ rather than the 4+ ion increases between tin and lead, partly because the 3rd and 4th electrons become slightly more difficult to remove. Germanium was discovered in by a chemist named Winkler and was named after Germany. Germanium has been found in many minerals and when purified, is a grayish color but has physicals traits of both a metal and a crystal.
